@h5e Oh, I feel this. A friend recently suggested that the only species of plant I am fit to tend is “plastic.” 🙃

@h5e They’re the prickliest of friends. 🌵

@bass_rock ooh. Prodigy S2 enhanced. That’s a pretty sticky lure.

@theconfusedyeti@tech.lgbt “Dollar store Klingons” 😂

All tech people should be forced to test their fancy new software on 5-year-old hardware with a rural internet connection.

Okay. It’s time. I’m finally ready to watch .

I can do this.

Neelix won’t actually eat me.

The Kazon don’t actually look ridiculous (actually, yes, they do).

Q: What is a Disney lawyer's most favorite Windows command?

A:
ipconfig /renew

@semidetached Thank you!! I only capture a handful of photographs in a year that really sing to me. This was definitely one of them!

@h5e @just_like_aerin Absolutely. And if cute tops are what panics morals, then we must aspire to own as much panic gear as possible. 👚

@EmilyEnough And now my list has _two_ new items on it. 🥹 Thank you for elaborating!! 🙇‍♀️

Plucked from the archives.

Spotted this bit of overgrowth taking a roundabout way to visit @pauline one day.

It took a few passes under different weather conditions over 1-2 months before I was able to capture what I wanted in-camera.

I fantasize about going back and exposing some 4x5 sheets, but I’d need to set up in the middle of the road, right after a tight turn. Photographers die for dumb like that.

I think this one would be fun to print very large.

@EmilyEnough @KatherineInCode @heathborders Ugh. Hadn’t even thought about this deadname hoard. Going on the list! 📝

Basic models of flocking behavior are controlled by three simple rules: 1) separation: avoid crowding neighbours (short range repulsion); 2) alignment: steer towards average heading of neighbors; 3) cohesion: steer towards average position of neighbors (long range attraction). With these three simple rules, the flock moves in an extremely realistic way.
