Been a minute since I worked straight through bedtime. Well, I guess it wasn’t entirely straight: I did take a break to buy boxed salads and visit the dispensary.

@nicole I set good boundaries with myself today but only because I have to be at an 8AM dental procedure and felt it'd be unfair to work too late only to endure more pain first thing in the morning :blobcatsweats2:

Basic models of flocking behavior are controlled by three simple rules: 1) separation: avoid crowding neighbours (short range repulsion); 2) alignment: steer towards average heading of neighbors; 3) cohesion: steer towards average position of neighbors (long range attraction). With these three simple rules, the flock moves in an extremely realistic way.
