Been a minute since I worked straight through bedtime. Well, I guess it wasn’t entirely straight: I did take a break to buy boxed salads and visit the dispensary.
@nicole I set good boundaries with myself today but only because I have to be at an 8AM dental procedure and felt it'd be unfair to work too late only to endure more pain first thing in the morning
Basic models of flocking behavior are controlled by three simple rules: 1) separation: avoid crowding neighbours (short range repulsion); 2) alignment: steer towards average heading of neighbors; 3) cohesion: steer towards average position of neighbors (long range attraction). With these three simple rules, the flock moves in an extremely realistic way.
