Picard S3E05 Spoilers

Now that @pauline is back from Japan, we’re working our way through .

It’s pretty clumsy in a lot of ways, especially the first few episodes, where it’s a self-congratulatory good ‘ol boys roadtrip. The pair’s bitter musings over Beverly’s abandonment of Picard landed like the sexist trope it was, and disappointed me terribly.

But last night we we were both in near-tears with the 5th episode and the unexpected resolution of STTNG’s Ro Laren storyline.

With these three simple rules, the flock moves in an extremely realistic way.
