Other people's conversations about #hashtags made me nostalgic for the Bad Guide classification system: 1. About Goats 2. Not About Goats 3. Partly About Goats Belated RIP to AJP Crown. https://abadguide.wordpress.com/#aboutgoats
@semidetached Back in its/our day, I pointed to A Bad Guide as a masterpiece that could never have existed in any other form. Imagine the printing costs of those photos in a paper zine. And given that the BBC couldn't even keep One Man & His Dog going, forget about broadcast/cable/streaming.
Basic models of flocking behavior are controlled by three simple rules: 1) separation: avoid crowding neighbours (short range repulsion); 2) alignment: steer towards average heading of neighbors; 3) cohesion: steer towards average position of neighbors (long range attraction). With these three simple rules, the flock moves in an extremely realistic way.
