I love all you The Dream of the 90s Web is Alive people, truly I do—I mean, I am one of you, I have a website that's 27 years old and runs on Debian, a Makefile, and my anger at Emacs—but for that very reason I promise it is OK to try to think through what happens when a somewhat janky bit of software starts to be unable to depend on the goodwill of a self-selected user base. We've been here many times before, for both good and bad.
Setting this thing up could have been worse! Okay! This is like day six with no sodium and it's been no better than any of those preceding, sweet dreams.
