Got bloodwork done today!
My doctor says I should have estradiol levels between 100-200 pg/mL. I have... 15. That seems less than ideal 
@courtney oh dear. That’s low. Injection or oral supplement?
@nicole Patches! I swap them out Tuesday and Friday nights, so I was expecting it to be low - but not that low 
@Reborn_Cat_Mom @nicole They actually switched me off of pills, to patches, last year. My doctor doesn't want to go the injection route unless nothing else works - we'll see what they come back with. 🤞

Interesting. Any particular reason your doctor wants to steer you clear of injections?

@nicole @Reborn_Cat_Mom It's policy for the clinic I'm at, and I'm not sure exactly why that is. Perhaps that will change!

@Reborn_Cat_Mom @courtney @nicole Same here. After about a year of 4X100 patches all the possible locations had so much adhesive residue the fresh ones couldn't get through it. And no soap or solvent could remove it without wrecking my skin.

Oh no.
The same thing happened to me when I was first on HRT and was given patches. One day they just stopped working.
Switched to pills right away, and later injections.
Good luck getting that squared away.
