@Terra I've been at this transitioning thing for almost four years now, and it's interesting how easy it becomes to tell the difference between, "person who uses your pronouns because they see you as a girl" and "person who uses your pronouns because they see you as a guy whom they need to remember to refer to as a girl."

that's one of the many reasons why I mostly keep company with other trans people nowadays. cis people usually haven't interrogated the concept of gender identity, let alone their own gender identity, enough for me to feel completely comfortable around.

Basic models of flocking behavior are controlled by three simple rules: 1) separation: avoid crowding neighbours (short range repulsion); 2) alignment: steer towards average heading of neighbors; 3) cohesion: steer towards average position of neighbors (long range attraction). With these three simple rules, the flock moves in an extremely realistic way.
