@h5e oh, very much same. Did you also avoid gendering yourself in conversation? (I always felt like that was my longest-running tell).

@nicole oh yes but I’ve been more or less (read: I didn’t make it a thing, but just updated my twitter bio and that was it) out as non-binary for a while and have been giving pushback against being included in male group nouns (like “men” or “dudes”). Kind of unsuccessfully in many cases though 😒 but I wasn’t really firm on it either.

Basic models of flocking behavior are controlled by three simple rules: 1) separation: avoid crowding neighbours (short range repulsion); 2) alignment: steer towards average heading of neighbors; 3) cohesion: steer towards average position of neighbors (long range attraction). With these three simple rules, the flock moves in an extremely realistic way.
