Zooey Zephyr is now the first trans woman in the history of Montana elected as a legislator.

Her presence will secure representation for trans people in the place where laws are made in one of the states where the battle for rights and dignity will be hardest.

And to me personally, as the woman who gets to love her, I cannot be prouder and happier.

@nicole That makes sense. Some of the transmen I've known have had a clearer grasp on manhood than those born into it.
Similar to how transfemmes can shine a different light on women's spaces.
