#pocket used to have its office in San Francisco on Sansome St., near the Montgomery Street BART station. It evaporated during Covid like so many good things.
#pocket 2022. I took this photo at the end of Mozilla All-Hands. I’d never been the Hawaii before, and the long walks on the beach with coworkers and friends felt practically surreal.
#pocket 2016. I took this photo at my first team week. As a daily user, joining Pocket was a dream for me. I’d always wanted to work on something I actually used, and the product sat at that intersection of web client and news utility that I was already extremely invested in.

Heritage Auctions has a lot of anime art up for sale, including this amazing layout cel from my fave, Gunbuster!

Went to my first bridal shower last weekend. Interesting time all around. The bride-to-be is the fiancée of a dear friend of mine going back to high school, which meant his sister, mother, and step-mother were also all in attendance—none of whom I’ve seen in 30 years.
Also, we won the TP wedding dress competition (last photo)!
